AP forms high-level panel to monitor West Asia crisis impact

Amaravati: The Andhra Pradesh government has constituted a high-level committee to monitor the impact of the ongoing volatile situation in the Middle East. The panel will be chaired by Chief Secretary G. Sai Prasad.
The committee will regularly review developments and assess their impact on the supply of LPG and other fuel products, taking timely action whenever required.
In view of the evolving geopolitical situation and its potential implications on supply chains, prices, migrant welfare, energy security, transport, and overall public welfare, Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu ordered the formation of the panel to ensure coordinated and prompt action across departments.
A senior official said the committee will closely track developments and facilitate inter-departmental coordination to mitigate any adverse impact arising from the Middle East crisis.
